I’ve been MIA for a while and I am sorry for that! I happened to start a new job the same week I left for Anime Expo, so all the free time I had to work on both cosplay and this blog kind of disappeared. Then as soon as I got back I had school work that needed to be done for the next week and, then the week after (it was a portfolio class, you see) and… yeah. It’s been busy. My bad.
This post was supposed to be my Anime Expo report, but seeing as that’s already over a month ago and I’ve got Animethon coming up literally this week… I decided to ditch it in favour of some other things I’ve got on the go.
I currently have three posts that are in the process of being written and edited:
- “EZ” belt tutorial;
- Final Fantasy XV photoshoot;
- Book discussion/review for The Costume Technician’s Handbook aka the best book ever.
The first of these should be done some time this week; it just needs photos and it’s good to go! Thankfully, my current work in progress requires a lot of belts so it’s been something I’ve been able to sneak in as I head into con crunch for the week. The photoshoot is literally a matter of uploading the photos… which will go up after Animethon. And finally, a book review of sorts that’s mostly just an excuse to talk about my favourite cosplay resource of all time and try to convince everyone to spend $80 on a textbook.
(But no really, it’s that useful.)
Hopefully I will get all three all posted before PAX West, but I make no promises. Like I said, it’s been busy.
